2012 Summer Camp Health Forms

*Please submit forms before the beginning of your child's first camp session. Hard copies will be mailed to you three weeks before your child's camp.

Medical Authorization Form - only needed if your camper will need medication during the camp day (including EpiPens). Must be signed by doctor.

There is a 30 minute supervised lunch for campers taking a full day.

          Make something from nothing! We will create collages of texture rubbings from ordinary objects, weave different textures through handmade looms, and create art objects from household items.

          Design, create, and build your own structures and sculptures! Embellish free standing castles and assemblages while learning about the playful stabiles of Calder and the cubist art of Picasso.

          Learn the fundamentals of dance or just brush up on your basic skills! Complete a daily thorough warm-up and learn about some of the great choreographers of our time such as Fosse, Robbins, Balachine, and others. Create performance-related props and perform on the final day of the session!

          Learn the beading basics by crimping and wire-wrapping all types of beads. We will also be using a needle and thread to stitch different projects like the spiral rope, the Russian spiral and flat spiral to make necklaces and bracelets. Learn the latest rage of leather wrap bracelets, friendship bracelets and more!

          Have a blast designing and building many types of puppets using a variety of materials!           Explore the embroidery techniques and styles of various cultures. Learn about Hungarian, Indian, Pueblo, and Brazilian embroidery, as well as Ukrainian cross stitch. Incorporate the various styles you learn about into an embroidered sampler and create fabric art to take home and wow family and friends!
