The Howard County Arts Council strives to establish a strong foundation for community-based arts that will provide Howard County citizens with access to diverse and rewarding experiences in the arts and, in doing so, enhances our quality and enjoyment of life. But, we can’t do it alone… We rely on the generosity of hundreds of individuals and businesses who support the arts through contributions and services. Memberships and contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. View a list of our major patrons (contributions of $1,000+): Each level of membership brings its own set of benefits – from discounts on classes to invitations to tickets to the Celebration of the Arts in Howard County gala – but, hopefully, the most important reward is the knowledge that your contribution helps advance and support the arts in Howard County. Corporate Leadership An investment in the arts is an investment in the future of our community. Businesses not only benefit from publicly aligning themselves with a well-managed and respected non-profit organization with strong community ties, but with an opportunity to give back to the community in a meaningful way. Celebration of the Arts in Howard County The Celebration of the Arts, featuring the ever-popular Rising Star competition, is one of Howard County’s signature gala events. Not only is it an exciting showcase for the visual and performing arts, it is a successful friendraiser and fundraiser for the arts as well.
