We are currently accepting a second round of applications for the Re-Create: Ellicott City Artist Relief Fund, which was established to assist artists and non-profit arts and cultural organizations affected by the July 30, 2016 flash flood in Historic Ellicott City. The next deadline for applications March 1, 2017.
For this cycle, eligibility requirements for relief funds have been expanded to provide mini-grants of up to $750 to for-profit galleries and other arts-focused businesses located in the disaster zone that were affected. Re-Create will also continue to provide relief funds to individual artists and non-profit arts and cultural organizations. Recipients who have already received Re-Create grants are not eligible for further funding.
