Cultural Arts Showcase

Cultural Arts Showcase offers artists and presenters the opportunity to connect with program planners from across the state. Cultural Arts Showcase is a one-day program where artists present, and program planners can preview performances and K-12 performing arts education programs by local and national performing artists. It’s a great way to learn more about artists working in a variety of disciplines in an audition-style format. Meet with more than 25 performing artists, each presenting an eight-minute excerpt of their work. Other individual visual, literary, and performing artists will also be on hand to discuss their programs with attendees.

About the Cultural Arts Showcase

This event is typically attended by PTA Cultural Arts representatives, Recreation and Parks representatives, festivals, libraries, and other cultural arts presenters. Through this program, schools and cultural civic organizations can identify visual, literary, and performing artists for workshops, performances, demonstrations, and residencies.

The Cultural Arts Showcase is presented in partnership with the Recreation & Leisure Services Branch (RALS) of the Maryland Recreation & Parks Association.
