In this camp, artists will be encouraged to step inside their “Modern Era” by looking at diverse artists who have made significant impacts in both Modern and Contemporary Art. We will look at several artists who became famous during the 20th and 21st centuries. Campers will explore different mediums such as sculpture (stuffies), creating wearable art, collage, and paint!

If your child loves to create their own little world, whether it is a dollhouse or a superhero action scene, this is the camp for them! Campers will use their imagination and small motor skills to create beautiful dioramas from found objects, paper, glue, and scissors.

Curious about needlepoint, but discouraged because it looks difficult? Nice Needlepoint for Novices has got you covered! We will learn the basics of needlepoint, and use our new skills to create a repeating pattern motif we can use on a variety of projects, including keychains, bookmarks, magnets, and more!

Campers will explore line, color, shape, patterns, color mixing, and composition while learning and practicing the basics of painting in this freestyle camp.

Campers will be inspired by Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle and many other illustrators in this class creating art using techniques found in their popular books. Campers will even make simple story books complete with their own illustrations. This is a great way to connect reading, art and a love of literature in one fun class.

Campers will love creating their own menagerie of stuffed pals! Ranging in size from teeny tiny to super huggable, we will create everything from cute little snacks to sweet forest animals to some not-so-scary monsters.

**Campers should have some basic hand sewing experience before signing up for this camp.
