Thank you for choosing the Howard County Center for the Arts to host your event. Please note that the Center only accepts requests for arts-related activities. Please pay close attention to the sequential steps of the rental process here at the Center for the Arts:
1) After the form below has been submitted with your ideal dates and times, staff will reach out to invite you for a visit if you have not yet toured the building.
2) During the tour, if both parties are in agreement on rental logistics, staff will confirm availability of the space and reserve it for the renter.
3) Before a contract and invoice can be issued to a new renter, 3 Letters of Recommendation (must include contact info of writer) and a valid insurance document must be submitted. These items must be received before the first rental date.
4) A contract and invoice will be issued once the Letters of Recommendation and a valid insurance document have been received.

Dates you list below are REQUESTS ONLY – THEY ARE NOT GUARANTEED and will not be held without all necessary paperwork, including Certificate of Insurance. REQUESTED DATES AND TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. Requested hours must reflect set-up and tear down as groups will not be allowed in before the start time on their contract.
*Theatre rentals require a $100 refundable security deposit. When renting the Theatre for a performance, the Dance Studio should also be rented for the duration of the performance.

Equipment Needs
Please inquire about any equipment needs. Renters may use HoCo Arts equipment if it is available and in working order. HoCo Arts equipment is NOT GUARANTEED. Renters must have an approved Technician to operate Theatre equipment. HOCO ARTS DOES NOT PROVIDE TECHNICIANS or TRAINING on our equipment and is not responsible for faulty equipment.
