The acclaimed composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor brought African music to English symphonic halls in choral and orchestral works. The program includes music by Coleridge-Taylor’s and contemporaries Amy Beach, Gustav Holst, Edward Elgar, Henry T. Burleigh, and Undine Moore. CPC will be joined by the Dunloggin Middle School Chorus, Helen Bates, director, to sing “Freedom Trilogy” by Paul Halley.
