The GRAMMY Award-winning Parker Quartet brings their celebrated “fearless, yet probingly beautiful” performances to masterpieces spanning Vienna’s extraordinary musical heritage. Their interpretation of Beethoven’s taut, enigmatic Serioso Quartet reveals the revolutionary spirit that defined the First Viennese School. A century later, Anton Webern’s concentrated Five Movements carries this innovative tradition forward - his crystalline miniatures distilling Viennese expressivity through modernist techniques. The evening culminates with Schubert’s epic String Quartet No. 15 – composed in Vienna
