Experiment with a variety of media and techniques such as cutting and ripping to create originals works of art based on ideation. Campers will explore a variety of artist styles and approaches to collage.

Younger campers will enjoy this hands-on camp where they will learn the basics of hand sewing including stitch types, seaming, and applique. Using these techniques, they will create a stuffed emoji friend of their own to take home.

Campers will utilize ordinary materials sitting around the classrooms and create one-of-a-kind masterpieces. We will use cardboard, scrap paper, and bits of fabric and yarn to create amazing art.

Campers will have fun bringing their imagination to the art table in this mixed media camp. Some of the media we will use will include weaving, watercolors, paper, drawing, jewelry, and more! Campers should bring an open mind and a willingness to experiment!

This week, campers will go back in time, WAY BACK to the time of the dinosaurs. They will create
their own bones with clay, create stamped fossils and make papier-mache volcanoes. Prepare to be
messy! Campers will also explore images of cave art and create their own.

Get ready to make all the tiny things in this shrinking and sculpting camp. Literally watch your art creation shrink using shrink plastic or be sculpted through air dry clay and sculpey. Campers will work with a different art material each day to create jewelry and charms, animal figurines, keychains, and more!

Campers will be inspired by Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle and many other illustrators in this class creating art using techniques found in their popular books. Campers will even make simple story books complete with their own illustrations. This is a great way to connect reading, art and a love of literature in one fun class.
