Each week students will explore and experiment with a different material to create original three-dimensional artwork. Students will learn about different vantage points, construction, balance through the use of different materials including cardboard, wood, clay and natural objects.
Each week a new set of materials will be offered for participants to explore and tinker with. The class is designed to help adults and seniors to create freely, and loosen any creative blocks. The focus is on the process as opposed to the product, and will cover collage, sculpture, printmaking and other artforms.
Campers will utilize ordinary materials sitting around the classrooms and create one-of-a-kind masterpieces. We will use cardboard, scrap paper, and bits of fabric and yarn to create amazing art.
