State and federal criminal history background checks are required for all paid HCAC camp staff. HCAC will arrange for background checks after selecting prospective staff.

Paid counselors must be able to work a full shift (full-time shifts, Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm; part-time shifts, Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm) and commit to at least one full camp session. Preference may be given to applicants who have worked at HCAC before and/or who can work more rather than less. Accepted counselors must attend a full camp Zoom training in the evening on Wednesday, June 19 and an in-person staff training during the day on Friday, June 21.
