Providing Operating Support for Arts Organizations in Howard County
The Community Arts Development (CAD) Operating Grants fund day-to-day activities for Howard County arts organizations whose primary mission includes the exhibition, presentation, or production of the arts. To be eligible for a CAD Operating Grant, organizations must successfully complete two project grants over the past two consecutive years.

About CAD Operating Grants
The purpose of the Community Arts Development (CAD) Operating Grants is to sustain and help grow Howard County-based non-profit arts or cultural organizations with exhibition, presentation, or production in the arts as their primary function. These grants are larger and can cover the cost of a variety of day-to-day expenses like salaries, office equipment, utilities, and more. Organizations are only eligible for an operating grant after they have completed two (2) project grants over the past two consecutive years. This includes completing the project and submitting interim and final reports on time.
