While school may be out, making art is always in! On days when HCPSS has no school, HCAC offers a full day of visual arts programming for grades K-5! Pack a nut-free lunch and get ready to get creative!

In this camp we’ll explore texture using our senses of sight and touch! We’ll tour the historic Capitoline Center on a hunt for textures to make rubbings with, then we’ll make collages with the patterns we find. We’ll draw on rough sandpaper. And because finger painting isn’t just for little kids, we’ll use our fingers to glide smooth (washable!) paint onto the smoothest paper we can find.
