Coming Soon: A New Home for Affordable Rental Space for the Arts

December 8, 2025: The Howard County Arts Council (HoCo Arts) has relocated to the Capitoline Center at the Historic Circuit Courthouse in Old Ellicott City at 8360 Court Ave. The rental program is currently on pause and is expected to return in Spring 2026. We offer affordable arts rental spaces where you can create, present, perform, and meet!

At this time, rentals are temporarily on hold as key spaces are still under construction and not yet available for use. If you’re interested in renting space once the program resumes, please submit the Room Rental Request form below. This is the best way to express interest while we await further updates.

Check out our three unique artist studio programs

HoCo Arts manages 30 artist studios that provide affordable creative workspace for practicing artists in a supportive, nurturing environment.

Studio availability is currently on hold as we continue settling into our new location and await construction completion on shared spaces. Artists interested in future studio opportunities are encouraged to submit an Artist Studio Interest Form. We will follow up as updates become available.

Need space to grow your arts organization?

HoCo Arts provides arts nonprofits and arts groups with affordable rental space and opportunities to connect with the larger arts community.

Arts organization studio placements are currently on hold while construction on shared facilities is ongoing and timelines remain unconfirmed. If your organization is interested in future opportunities, please submit an Arts Organization Studio Interest Form. This allows us to track interest until programs resume.
