“The poet’s eye, in a fine frenzy rolling, doth glance from heaven to Earth, from Earth to heaven…” Campers will explore classical and contemporary poetry through topics such as rhythm, rhyme, and the musicality of language. Artists from the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company will also guide campers in devising personal pieces of their own.
Creative Cross Stitch

Session 6, PM: Aug 3-7, Grades K-3
Campers will learn the basics of cross stitching including the different stitch types and how to follow and stitch along a pattern. After mastering these skills, campers are invited to create an original pattern. At the end of the week, all campers will take home masterpieces of their own.
