Blossoms: 2024 Plein Air to Prepare

April 12 - May 12

$20
During this month-long Plein Air experience, artists of all age and experience levels are invited to draw inspiration and create art alongside local artists, from the beauty of Howard County’s blossoming Kwanzan cherry, Native Dogwood, and redbud trees. These pink and white flowering trees were planted by Blossoms of Hope, over twenty years, to enhance our quality of life through beautification projects, and by supporting our community. Many of these trees have been planted in honor and in memory of people’s loved ones. Groves of trees are located along our state and county roadways, in parks, at local libraries, as well as at private and government buildings.
Participation in the event is required for entry into the Plein Air to Prepare Exhibit on May 18, 2024. The entry fee for the Blossoms 2024 Plein Air to Prepare is $20; Student scholarships available to the first 100 students to apply will participate for free. See link below for complete information!

This calendar was created as a community service, to provide Howard County arts organizations with a place to promote their arts events and the general public with a place to find information about those events. Due to the large number of organizations posting to the calendar, the Arts Council is unable to verify event information.
