Maryland Winds – Spanish Nights

Tango, samba, mambo, ole! Let the passion and energy of this music capture your heart and move your soul. Be dazzled by trumpet soloist Christian Hinkle’s interpretation of Rafael Méndez’s iconic “La Virgen de la Macarena” and works by Rimsky-Korsakov, Marquez, Clifton Williams, and the ever-popular Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Maryland Winds is an ensemble of professional musicians in the greater Baltimore–Washington, DC, area. Most are current or past performers with the premier military bands, in major symphony orchestras, or as freelancers. Many are also active music educators in schools and private studios.
This calendar was created as a community service, to provide Howard County arts organizations with a place to promote their arts events and the general public with a place to find information about those events. Due to the large number of organizations posting to the calendar, the Arts Council is unable to verify event information.
