Monumental Brass Quintet

Whether playing Renaissance, jazz, or contemporary chamber music, the Monumental Brass Quintet is known for injecting energy and spirit into its performances. Critics have hailed this quintet as “An amazingly diverse ensemble that performs with exceptional emotional intensity.”  This group has released three albums and toured the United States numerous times. Trumpet player Patrick Whitehead was a founding member of the quintet in the 1970s. Other members are Gregory Freeman (trombone), Michael Lowe (trumpet), Heidi Brown (horn), and John Banther, (tuba). Event is FREE and a part of the Summer Concert Series at Glen Mar Church.
